Jacksonville Business Journal: Bread & Board readies Town Center location for opening
Jacksonville-based Bread & Board is readying to open its newest location at the St. Johns Town Center next week.
Located at 4413 Town Center Pkwy, Unit 201, the restaurant will initially open with a curbside pick up and delivery only — within a five-mile radius, for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The restaurant is scheduled to open Tuesday.
“We are very excited and happy to announce the much-anticipated opening of our second location at the St. Johns Town Center. Our customers on the eastern side of Jacksonville now have a location that is more convenient than driving into town to experience our fresh, local flavors.” said Jonathan Cobbs, co-founder of The Bread & Board. “We are equally thrilled to be a part of the bustling commerce area that is the St. Johns Town Center and are able to extend the offerings of a locally-sourced, authentic culinary experience.”
The 2,800-square-foot space that seats up to 125 guests at regular capacity draws upon an eclectic design mix of rustic and industrial themes. The restaurant features outdoor patio seating, contemporary textiles and lush foliage. The new location also functions as a secondary kitchen to provide full catering services.
“The Town Center location is a labor of love that has been in the works for more than a year,” said Dwayne Beliakoff, co-founder of The Bread & Board and Bread & Board Provisions. “We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and positive encouragement from the community and are thrilled to finally be able to not only expand the footprint of our culinary offerings but also provide a unique and specially curated shopping experience through Bread & Board Provisions.”
The restaurant is at full staff to open with for curbside and delivery, but The Bread & Board is looking to hire about 20 more staff members between the Town Center and the original Five Points locations within the next two to three weeks.
